Discover the different districts of Monaco

MONTE-CARLO :
Built around the mythical Casino, this central district is the most famous one of Monaco. It encompasses the Casino's newly renovated and pedestrianised square and the Carré d'Or, and overlooks this area.

CARRE D’OR :
In the heart of the Monte-Carlo district, the Carré d’Or is home to the residential complexes around the Casino, luxury hotels and shops, and the Métropole shopping centre.

FONTVIEILLE :
Being Monaco’s business district, Fontvieille is home to the Louis II stadium, the heliport, a shopping centre and Monaco's second port.

CONDAMINE :
Situated between Moneghetti and Port Hercule, at the foot of the Rocher and the Prince's Palace, this shopping district offers a pedestrian area littered with restaurants and small shops, next to Rue Grimaldi and Avenue Albert II. It is also the headquarters of several administrations and schools. Many of the apartments offer first-class views over the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

PORT HERCULE :
Port Hercule is the main port of Monaco. Along the quay there are several restaurants and bars. Numerous events are organised here throughout the year, such as the funfair, forums, exhibitions and sports competitions. The port's swimming pool (Rainier III nautical stadium) offers its enthusiasts a moment of relaxation with a view over the most beautiful yachts in the world. This pool is transformed into a giant ice skating rink from December to March.

SAINT ROMAN - LA ROUSSE :
This district on the border with Beausoleil and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin offers an exceptional panorama over Monaco.

LARVOTTO :
Larvotto is the seaside district of Monaco since it lies alongside the sea and the beaches. A project to completely renovate the seafront cove on Avenue Princesse Grace is currently in progress, with the aim of providing areas for relaxation, restaurants and games to match Monaco's high standards.

JARDIN EXOTIQUE :

This district overlooks the Condamine and Fontvieille districts and is situated on the border with Cap d'Ail and La Turbie. It is home to the famous Exotic Garden, the Observatory Cave and the Anthropology Museum.

LES MONEGHETTI :
Situated on the border with Beausoleil, this district overlooks Monaco and is home to the Moneghetti shopping centre.

MONACO VILLE OR LE ROCHER :
This is the area of the Prince's Palace surrounded by narrow medieval streets. It is the oldest part of Monaco and overlooks the whole city.
